After graduating from the Art Center of Design in Pasadena, California, Len began a storied and successful career as an industrial designer, utilizing his talents with companies like Ford, LearJet, Pillsbury and Mattel. Len’s myriad of industrial design accomplishments include the development and engineering optimization of the LearJet 14 passenger helicopter, which included his innovative discovery and implementation of putting engines into the aircraft winglets, increasing its speed by 10mph.
In 1991, Len returned to his alma mater, beginning a 15 year tenure as a Professor of Industrial Design at Art Center.
After a chance meeting with WaveJet inventor and CEO Mike Railey in 2009, Len followed his intrigue with this new revolution in water sports and joined the company. Len has been responsible for the design and development of the configuration and fitting of the WaveJet board cavity and corresponding pod system, and is a critical member of the WaveJet team.
